Hi! My Name Is Zachary Lopez Johnson
I’m currently a marketing and business student at
Western Tech and im expanding my skills in digital strategy, marketing research, and
design. I’m currently completing my associate degree as well as preparing to continue my
education towards a bachelor’s degree at UWL.
I’ve always had an interest in learning and
understanding how people think, what makes them think that way, and how all these
massive brands can influence a person’s behavior. These are just a few of the reasons that
led me to take an interest and start pursuing marketing.
My Background
My background may just be starting, but with the work that I have done so far, I’ve been able
to develop a range of skills in research, design, as well as content creation and
management. Throughout my schooling and other personal projects, I’ve built WordPress
websites, developed brand identities, designed logos, created color palettes, and written
multiple blogs with the content being focused on UX, mobile marketing, usability &
accessibility, and SEO. With that, these projects and experiences have helped me grow and
learn new skills in analysis, digital communication, and problem solving skills.
Outside of school and personal projects, I like to spend my free time traveling and exploring
new areas and things. I also have a passion for researching new technology that comes
out, learning new cooking recipes at home, and doing anything outdoors. I also enjoy
gaming, learning electronics repair, and upgrading my PC, really anything that lets me
build, optimize, and create.
Why I Love Marketing
I really enjoy this field because it allows me to combine trying out new strategies with my
creativity. I love breaking down different aspects of marketing and design and learning what
impacts people’s engagement, as well as what I can do to improve the way a user
experiences a brand. My end goal is to build a successful career in marketing where I can
help brands grow and communicate their message clearly, as well as design experiences
that people will actually enjoy.
